Gone With the Wind Museum
Scarlett O'Hardy's Gone With the Wind Museum, located in historic Jefferson, Texas, the Bed and Breakfast Capital of Texas, is an iconic 1,700-square-foot museum dedicated to Gone With the Wind. The museum features one of the largest private collections of memorabilia from this epic story of the Old South.

Historic Jefferson Ghost Walk Tour
Come Join historian Jodi Breckenridge in Jefferson Texas for the famous ghost walk tour in what is considered the most haunted small town in Texas thanks to the Discover, Travel and Scifi channels.
The Historical Jefferson Ghost Walk has been mentioned in news articles and T.V. for years including KTBS channel 3,The Houston Chronicle, The Longview News Journal, and The Tyler Morning Telegraph!!!
Tickets are available anytime at Java Dave's at 123 W. Austin St., across from the Jefferson Hotel. The Ghost Walk Tour departs Java Dave's at 8pm every Friday and Saturday night. Special group tours are available by reservation.
Jefferson Railway
The Railway has become a part of the thriving community of Jefferson sponsoring major events throughout the year that bring over 20,000 visitors to Jefferson. Patrons look forward all year to the Terror on the Bayou Runaway Fright Train and Halloween Festival, Rail of Lights Christmas & New Year's Train, Diamond Don's National Vintage Motocross, The Great Locomotive Chase and Route 49 Biker Rally.
The train rolls right by the home of the Boggy Creek monster as depicted in the upcoming feature horror movie, "Boggy Creek", filmed in Jefferson and Uncertain. The movie is loosely based on the old Big Foot or Sasquatch legends, says Brian T. Jaynes, director and producer.

Historic Jefferson Narrated Tour
We started our tour business in October 2018 to showcase Jefferson, Texas. With the option of a guided shuttle tour, or the option to explore on your own with bikes, we hope you enjoy the charm of this East Texas town.
Our small, quaint town in East Texas has 135+ state and nationally recognized historic structures.
Turning Basin Tours
The bayou tour takes about one hour and is mostly a narration concerning the history of Jefferson in regard to the steamboat business from here to New Orleans, information about our trees, plants and wildlife along the bayou and whatever other subjects that may pop up. We do not stick to a prepared script or recite a memorized speech. Each tour guide does his or her own research and puts together their own style of guiding (remember, we tawk real funny down here)!
